Brittney Atkinson has earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana. Brittney came to The Healing Arts Center initially as a student in the Massage Therapy Training Program, and has since graduated with honors, inducted into The Order of Twin Hearts. She is also a graduate of HAC's Advanced Energy Medicine Master Track, and had been working at HAC as part of the reception services team since she was a student. Brittney was asked to step into the role of Director of Admissions because of her skill and spirit, and having an insider's look at choosing a massage school that's fits the person. She possesses skills essential to helping our students rise to the challenges of the ever-changing massage therapy profession.
As times have changed, so has HAC. The demand for licensed massage therapists (LMTs) has never been greater and yet anomalies in the job market can hinder students from finding the opportunity that is right for them. HAC has a long reputation of educating massage therapists who are healers and not mere technicians. Brittney has joined our team to help identify the talented women and men suitable for our next generation of therapists and to help shape the future of massage therapy as a healing modality.
Brittney helps prospective students chart a course to success from the moment they visit us for the first time and will continue to support our students for years after they have graduated.
