HAC Taps Fischer, Pettit & Smith For Honors At GraduationOn May 23, 2016 the Spring Graduating Class of 2016 will be presented with their certificates having completed the Massage Therapy Training Program (MTTP) at The Healing Arts Center, in St. Louis. Graduation represents a year of hard work and stretching one's mind to become a health and wellness professional of the highest caliber. HAC holds five graduations a year certifying between 75 to 100 candidates for licensure in that time frame. Only those students who have met the rigorous standards of the HAC MTTP program are presented with the "Red Robe", a Pranic Healing meditation shawl that represents the completion of HAC's unique fusion of physical and consciousness training. Every graduation cycle a handful of students stand out for particular recognition. Each faculty member can make only two nominations and it takes a minimum of two nominations to pass the first round of selection. In addition to nomination, only those students who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to excellence and have attended 90% of the curriculum without making up clock hours can ultimately take their place in the Order.
This term, HAC is pleased to induct three fine graduates: Benjamin Fischer, Alice Petit and Danielle Smith into the Order of Twin Hearts. The Order takes its name from a Pranic Healing meditation developed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui. HAC headmaster, Tom Tessereau trained directly under Master Choa. The Twin Hearts Meditation is designed to help promote world peace and wellness. "Twin Hearts" refers to the crown and heart chakras as a pair. All HAC graduates receive a sterling silver pendant in the shape of the heart chakra at graduation. OTH inductees also receive the "twin heart", a gold crown chakra pendant to complete the pair. Congratulations Benjamin, Alice and Danielle. We are very, very proud of you and all of your classmates who will be graduating on Friday. Best of luck to you all as you take your place among the highly accomplished professionals who have gone before you! |
