Aaron was connected to The Healing Arts Center long before going to work there. His aunt graduated from the program in 1994 and has worked as a successful therapeutic massage professional in the years since. She credits The Healing Arts Center as being a wonderful place to begin her lifelong journey of helping people through massage. Aaron has worked in the customer service sector for over 20 years. He brings nearly a decade of experience in post-secondary financial aid to The Healing Arts Center. He loves to witness the transformative power education has over students and he is proud to play a part in getting students access to that education. Aaron grew up on a small farm near Springfield, Missouri with his brother and parents who owned a local bookstore. He left Springfield in 1991 to attend Webster University. These days he lives in Maplewood with his beloved spouse, Sheila. She is the Executive Director of Artists First Saint Louis, a non-profit art studio focused on connecting underserved members of the community with the arts. Aaron has been known to volunteer as a bartender at Artists First special events. When not working, Aaron loves to cook for Sheila. The two of them travel when possible and enjoy good food, art, live music, and truly outstanding beer.
