Applying For Admission Is Easy

Step One: Get Your Questions Answered.

Currently, there is an acute shortage of licensed massage therapists in the St. Louis region.  Virtually every salon, spa and clinic is looking for qualified massage therapists.  One major massage provider in St. Louis estimates that they have an immediate need for over 150 licensed massage therapists right now!
With more and more people turning to this type of wellness management, the future is looking very bright.
Read through our website.  Most of the information that you need is here. Visit Program Details for specifics.

Talk to us.   You can find out more about our basic massage therapy training, our career placement opportunities and how you can take your place in this growing profession.
  • Call us at (314) 647-8080 and ask for our Director of Admissions, Kim Brady.

Step Two: Prepare Your Application.

Step Three:  Schedule An Interview With The Director of Admissions.

About The Interview Process
When you apply for admissions at The Healing Arts Center we require a pre-admission interview.  This interview is done in a very laid-back setting and is simply a conversation with our Director of Admissions, Kim Brady.
During the interview you will be asked about what career goals and why you are looking at an education in massage therapy.   You will have an opportunity to interview us, ask questions about the school, take a tour and even sit in on a class if you choose to do so.
We want students who apply for admission at The Healing Arts Center to make the right choice for themselves.  Because you have never been in the massage therapy profession, it is best that you speak with professionals and find out what it is like from people who have been there.
You will be much happier as a student and a graduate if you enter this profession with your eyes wide open having had the chance to get your questions answered and see with your own eyes what this training looks like.
You might even find some surprises.  The majority of our students find our style of massage therapy training "enlightening" or "transformative".   Many of our students say that massage therapy education at The Healing Arts Center is life changing.  Visit us and find out why.

Step Four: Know What You Are Walking Into

For our accreditation sample period from 2016-2017, 84% of the students who enroll into the The Healing Arts Center graduate from the program. Our most recent first-time MBLEx pass rate  (the test taken to get a massage therapy license) is 71.4%. 84% of our graduates report that they are working in the massage therapy profession.  Some graduates use the certification to work in other fields.

Step Five: Meet with the Financial Aid Director

All students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA.  This application will determine if you qualify for any federal student aid, whether it be in the form of Pell grants or student loans. This form will ask questions about income and other matters to determine your eligibility for financial aid.  This is a required application and no federal financial aid can be issued without it.
If you need help with your FAFSA form, Aaron Frey, our Director of Financial Aid will be happy to walk you through the process.  If you have questions you can call The Healing Arts Center at
(314) 647-8080 to speak to someone or schedule an appointment. You can email us at aaron@thehealingartscenter.com.
