A Licensed Massage Therapist and a Registered Nurse, Loucks Brings Considerable Administrative Skill To HAC's Core Management Group
"When you work with Sharon for a while you begin to notice some wonderful traits. She is organized, she is efficient, she loves data, she loves HAC, she has great communication skills and yet, she will not back away from a difficult conversation. Her skills are very noticeable", say David Kenyon, HAC's president.
In the past, HAC has delegated Student Affairs accountability to the Director of Financial Aid. In 2016, the two accountabilities were separated and the Student Affairs function was delegated to Terrie Yardley-Nohr on a temporary basis. Terrie Yardley-Nohr has been acting as Director of Student Affairs since Michelle Gaeu left the post to move to Wisconsin in April of 2016. Terrie, however, also runs HAC's Free Cancer Clinic, teaches Business and manages the school's accreditation compliance. She has a very full plate. Over the past six months, as the school's Core Management Group (simply referred to as "Core") has been asking Sharon to take on more and more of the Student Affairs role, it seemed only appropriate to offer Sharon the official position. Core is looking forward to having Sharon take her place around the "kitchen table" (literally Headmaster, Tom Tessereau's grandmother's kitchen table) to begin managing the complicated task of helping hundreds of students successfully steer their way through the HAC curriculum. |
