The Healing Art Center has begun designating exceptional students by inviting them into a selective honor society known as The Order of the Twin Hearts. The order gets its name from a form of Pranic Healing meditation championed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui. Headmaster Tom Tessereau was a long-time student and disciple of Mast Sui and named the order after a practice designed to bring about universal benefit and world healing.
The faculty at the Healing Arts Center nominates students for The Order of the Twin Hearts and these nominations are then considered by the Executive Committee of The Healing Arts Center. The criteria for selection are excellence in the classroom, superior technical skill and outstanding attendance through out the program. The final criterion requires a member of the Order of The Twin Hearts (OTH) to represent the very essence of the compassionate healer.
At the May graduation ceremony on May 22, 2015, The Healing Arts will induct two of its students into OTH, Rachel Delaney and Laurel Brack. Both of these women were unanimously nominated by the faculty and showed exemplary attendance that assures the Executive Committee that they have received the compete curriculum offered at HAC. Aside from being outstanding students, both Delaney and Brack clearly exhibit the being of compassionate healers. "They are among the best that this school has educated", said Headmaster Tom Tessereau.
We are exceptionally proud of these young women and wish them well as they start off on their next adventures. Ms. Delaney intends to work as a massage therapist while attending chiropractic school and Ms. Brack will be opening a clinic in North Carolina with her boyfriend who will be graduating from chiropractic school at the end of the summer. Wherever they may travel, we know that they represent the best of The Healing Arts Center and the profession. Moreover, they carry with them the true intention to cast suffering out of the human experience.
Congratulations Rachel and Laurel! We love you!
