​Wendy Kienbusch
Director of Student Services 

​Wendy started her education career in 1993 after graduating with a degree in Secondary Education/Social Sciences from Wheaton College.  After 7 years of teaching she stayed home to raise 7  children and homeschooled them until 2017.  She went back to teaching middle school in 2020.  After two years she felt the need to step away from public education and pursue employment in another field.  The Healing Arts Center was the perfect setting as it allowed her to be involved with education but with older students and without needing to compile lesson plans!

She very much enjoys the interaction with students at The Healing Arts Center and problem solving when scheduling conflicts arise.   The best part of her job is labeling a student's file with GRADUATE instead of ACTIVE EARNING.

In addition to working at The Healing Arts Center, Wendy is a certified personal trainer in exercise science and nutrition and does one on one training with clients on the weekend.  She is a big believer in health and nutrition and is grateful for both jobs that are in line with her values and beliefs.

IF she's not at either job you can find her with her family, running, cooking, or sewing.  She enjoys a great glass of wine and homemade bread on occasion.
