Meet Mike Joseph Comptroller, Director of Retail Operations
Michael has been with The Healing Arts Center since the end of January, 2015 and has taken on the duties of the Comptroller and Director of Retail Operations.
Michael was most recently the comptroller at Habitata Building Products, building supply and sustainable building products manufacturer. He began at Habitata as a customer service representative, but was quickly promoted to customer service manager because of his ability to manage complex accounts such as Lowes and Home Depot. Michael was eventually asked to be the internal accountant for the company where he managed purchasing, inventory control, payables, receivables, payroll and the companies vendor relations.
Michael is no stranger to account management. He was with Citicorp Mortgage for twelve years as a Non-Escrow Processor managing 100,000 plus accounts. He left Citicorp Mortgage at the end of 1999 and went to the Warner Bros. Studio Stores as an assistant store manager. (Michael has a thing for cartoons.) His retail experience has become invaluable to The Healing Arts Center.
He has also worked for Magellan Health Services as a Customer Service Specialist on the IBM team and after a year became an Account Specialist managing the Employee Assistance program for 100 plus Mid-Market Accounts. Michael is a dog lover, a connoisseur of fine cupcakes and lives in the country where he raises much of his own food.
