Students work in pairs to practice massage techniques
While we teach a full array of modalities, what sets our students apart is that they are more than just technicians. Healing Arts Center graduates are taught to know themselves as guardians of well being. This translates into authentic concern for clients, outstanding customer service, and personal fulfillment for every massage therapist we train.

We Teach Our Students the Importance of Self-Care

One of the biggest concerns in the massage industry is professional longevity. Students are reminded in every part of the curriculum how to implement safe body mechanics, positioning and physical conditioning to avoid injury, both immediate and chronic. Meditation and body-warming exercises are included in every technique course.
As a student you learn how to calm your mind and manage your internal energy. This is essential to the art of massage and body work.

By incorporating energy work such as Reiki into the curriculum, students have the tools to develop a focused, compassion-driven approach to removing pain and anxiety from other human beings.
The facilitation of well being begins with one's self!
