Introduction to Breathwork

Breathwork techniques use "conscious connected breathing". Connecting the inhale with the exhale consciously and continuously quickly connects us to our core, to each other, to Nature and to our wider life experience. Conscious Breathing opens a channel to the deeper realities of life, providing the groundwork for personal development and reaching higher states of consciousness.
What to Bring: Wear loose comfortable clothing, bring a notepad and pen, and something comfortable to lie on (may include blankets, sleeping bag, cushions/pillows, bolster, eye pillow etc.)

Hawaiian LomiLomi Massage
Level I
Hawaiian Lomilomi Level 1 is a course of study in the once secret ritualistic bodywork of the Pacific Rim People. This class introduces the student to the historical highlights of the Hawaiian Islands and the discovery of the healing art called Lomilomi.
Students will be taught the four basic elements of Lomilomi bodywork: pule ( prayer intention), mele (chants and rhythms), hula (strokes and choreography of the lomilomi, for front and back of body) , and ho’oponopono , the resolution and balance of self with Spirit, with family, and with the community.

Sunday, May 1, 2022 9am - 5pm Instructor: Terrie Yardley-Nohr HAC Campus Tuition: $400 HAC Student & Grad Tuition: $350 CEUs: 14 Class Size: 16 In this class, therapists will learn about conditions such as whiplash injuries, low back pain syndromes, carpal tunnel, and scar tissue that are frequently challenging for a therapist to work on. Evaluating and assessing each condition and how it manifests in the human body is an important component in treating these conditions. What to bring: Participants should wear comfortable loose fitting clothes. Sports bras and shorts may be used at times. A clean set of sheets/face cradle covers for each day and lotion or cream. Tables and bolsters will be provided. *Prerequisite: must be a licensed massage therapist or a Level 5 HAC student. |

Join us for the third and final Reiki course. In this class you will receive another attunement and learn about the Master Symbol. You will also learn how to give Reiki attunements and lead classes.
Monthly Breathwork Session
HAC's monthly Breathwork sessions allow HAC graduates and students who have had Introduction to Breathwork training the opportunity to participate in 90 minute coached group sessions. The sessions are lead by HAC Headmaster, Tom Tessereau and will be held on the 2nd Sunday of every month.
* Participants must have taken our Introduction to Breathwork Workshop or have taken breathwork in Advanced Techniques Class in the Massage Therapy Training Program.

Reiki Circle
Participants will exchange Reiki sessions, both giving and receiving.
You will even receive another attunement to enhance your Reiki flow.
*Our Reiki Circle is intended ONLY for those who have had Reiki training at the Healing Arts Center.

All tuition/fees must be paid in full 7 days prior to the workshop. If space is available we will still accept late registrations during the week before the class.
If you must cancel your workshop attendance within 7 days of the event, the Healing Arts Center may retain a portion or all of the workshop fee.
If you cancel 7 days to 3 days before the start of the workshop, we will retain $100 of the workshop fee.
If you cancel 2 days to 0 days before the start of the workshop, there will be no refund of the workshop fee.
Any refund of tuition fees will be returned within two weeks.
