Financial Aid
rospective students who want to explore the possibility of receiving federal financial aid must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to determine their eligibility for Pell Grants, Parent Plus Loans, and Stafford Loans through the Direct Loan Program.
The Healing Arts Center also accepts funding from the Veteran's Administration and Vocational Rehabilitation.
HAC offers Title IV student aid (federal financial aid) along with installment payment programs (SIP) and its own internal loan program (HACTL) to help students finance their participation in the program.
The 600 Hour MTTP program is designed to only require a maximum of twelve (12) hours of class time per week thereby making feasible for students to work full or part time during school.

The Healing Arts Center Offers Additional Funding Options
The Healing Art Center is committed to providing quality education as well as access to a rewarding career. In addition to federal financial aid, HAC also offers two (2) additional forms of educational financing in the form of Student Installment Plans (SIPs) and HAC Tuition Loans (HACTLs) for qualified applicants.
Student Installment Plans
A Student Installment Plan (SIP) is a convenient way to pay tuition and avoid the debt of student loans because these payment plans are interest free. The following conditions apply:

HAC Tuition Loans
Our Title IV federal financial aid program does not cover the full amount of tuition. Some students find that even with a Student Installment Plan (SIP), they still do not have enough to fund tuition.
As a last piece of funding, The Healing Arts Center offers qualified students HAC Tuition Loans (HACTL) to fill in the missing funding. Certain conditions apply to this type of loan:

Managing Tuition Without Excessive Debt
The best possible way to put yourself through school is to pay tuition as you go without borrowing any money. The problem with borrowing money is that you don't pay back just the money you borrow, but you pay back the money you borrow with interest. This simply makes school more expensive. There are some things to think about when looking at how you are going to fund your education:
- Always take the free money when you can. Pell Grants, for example, do not have to be paid back. About two-thirds of the students at the Healing Arts Center qualify for Pell Grants.
- The Healing Arts Center will offer any student a Student Installment Plan. Instead of writing a big check at the beginning of each Level Session, SIPs allow you to break up your tuition payments into convenient, lower, monthly payments.
- The Healing Arts Center 600 Hour MTTP program is designed to keep weekly class time at a minimum so that you can work a full or part-time job during school. For many students, they can earn enough money working to pay their way through school without taking on any debt.
