The Healing Arts Center's massage therapy education has always transcended traditional vocational massage therapy training by embracing a broad spectrum of skills useful to holistic wellness practice. It is deeply grounded in compassion and service to others. When the school was looking for a way to acknowledge excellent students, the image of the Twin Hearts from Grand Master Choa Kok Sui's Meditation on Twin Heart was logical inspiration.
The term "twin hearts" refers to the union of the heart and crown chakras in the Pranic Healing system. Joining these two chakras creates profound healing power that can be directed at the earth itself. Every student at the Healing Arts Center is taught the Meditation on Twin Hearts and it is the foundation of the school's entire educational philosophy.

The criteria for induction into the Order of Twin Hearts is simple:
- a candidate must have at least 90% original attendance in all classes and clinics demonstrating that the are committed to and have received transmission of the knowledge and wisdom that is taught in the school;
- a candidate must represent the spirit of Healing Arts Center education in that they are focused on healing and compassionately causing well-being in others;
- a candidate must be nominated by at least two members of the faculty of the school as representing the standards and character necessary to be a member of the Order of Twin Hearts.
