HAC Is Ready To Welcome Its Family Back On January 8 With A Vision Of Wellness For All In The New Year
2017 is in the past (whew) and it is time to hit the reset button to launch 2018. The Winter Session starts on January 8th which means that our "healers in progress" will be returning and approximately twenty-five new students will be joining this very special community. The administrative team has been in the office all this week preparing to make 2018 the best year at HAC ever.
The HAC Team Trains Constantly And Works Passionately
By Kyle Riebeling, HAC Faculty/Core Management Group. Have you ever wondered about how The Healing Arts Center does what it does? Who or what is behind the curtain running the show? There is more to The Healing Arts Center than meets the eye. The truth is that there are many hard working people that keep HAC evolving so that it can continue to provide extraordinary transformational education into the future. From the Front Desk Team to the Executive Management Team, HAC is a school that is constantly watching the massage therapy community, surveying what is happening in the massage therapy world and educating itself so that it can educate its students.
HAC is run by three essential groups of personnel: The Front Desk Team, The Core Management Group and The Executive Management Team. Our main decision making team (Core Management Group) meets weekly at HAC for a meeting that we lovingly call "Core". HAC uses a highly transparent style of management. Every Core Manager is required to know the school's financial information in detail including what everyone earns from the headmaster down to the workshop instructors. Nearly every issue that arises in the school is discussed at Core meetings with each Core Manager presenting the status of his or her "zone of control" each week. This creates a highly collaborative environment wherein every Core Manager can contribute to every other Core Manager to improve perspective and enhance the quality of decisions that the group makes. Core moves very quickly using a "learn-decide-act" model of problem solving and business design. This is why so many things appear to be changing rapidly around HAC lately.
Let me tell you that these meetings are definitely are not your average "business-as-usual" business meeting. The special thing about Core meetings is that we spend a large percentage of the time developing the consciousness of conscientious management. Ingrained in every meeting are values of The Healing Arts Center. Two of the most common themes are: learning to use business for the benefit of human beings and taking action to make the world a better place.
