A great group of students is set to graduate from The Healing Arts Center on Friday, August 2nd. A Red Robe Ceremony will be held to celebrate their completion of the 50-week, 600-hour Massage Therapy Training Program. At the graduation ceremony we will honor those students who are an outstanding reflection of Healing Arts Center values. Students who are chosen for this honor are inducted into the Order of Twin Hearts, the honor society at The Healing Arts Center. Order of Twin Hearts members are distinguished by their dedication to learning, their compassion and their skill in healing touch.

What are the Twin Hearts?

The Order of Twin Hearts is named in honor of the Meditation on Twin Hearts introduced by Master Choa Kok Sui, the founder of Pranic Healing®, and late teacher to the Healing Arts Center Headmaster, Tom Tessereau. The Meditation on Twin Hearts is a technique to activate the heart and crown chakras to allow a higher state of consciousness. This meditation is also a service that blesses the world with loving kindness to bring about harmony and peace. It is only fitting that we use this name to honor Master Choa's contribution to our education and the shared notion to spread kindness and peace to all.

The Newest Inductees

The graduates being inducted into The Order of Twin Hearts on Friday, August 2, 2019, are as follows:
Jennifer Eisenbeis
Ricardo Espinosa
Brittany Herrick
Roger Kerns
These exemplary graduates will join over 100 other members in The Order of Twin Hearts. View the entire list of members and read more about the honors society here.

The new inductees will have the opportunity to speak at the Red Robe Ceremony, giving their graduating class and the guests their unique perspective. This is a continuation of a new tradition that was just started at the most recent graduation. Order of Twin Hearts inductees were asked to share a few thoughts about their educational journey and experience. The graduate who lit the fire bowl spoke on this as well. It was touching to hear from the graduates themselves about what they have learned and how they have transformed through this training program.

How are Inductees Selected?

The students nominated for the Order of Twin Hearts represent the highest standard of dedication, skill and compassion. The candidates are screened for attendance, attitude and practice ethics before being nominated by the faculty. To be considered, students must have at least 90% original attendance.

The Fire Bowl

At each graduation ceremony we choose one graduate to light the fire bowl during the procession in. It is considered an honor to light the fire bowl at the Red Robe Ceremony. The fire bowl is used for meditation and to cleanse the space. The graduate chosen to light the fire bowl at the upcoming ceremony is Bryan Neil.
All students have their growth and learning journey at The Healing Arts Center, but the one who lights the fire bowl is notable for how he or she has embraced the ethos of the school and have taken on healing fully and enthusiastically.
