The Healing Arts Center Begins Offering BEMER Vascular Therapy In Its Clinics

BEMER (Bio-Electro Magnetic Energy Regulation) equipment
BEMER Stands For "Bio-Electromagnetic Energy Regulation"
The Healing Arts Center Student and Professional Clinics have begun offering BEMER vascular therapy as an add-on option to any therapeutic modality it currently offers.  BEMER stands for Bio-Electromagnetic Energy Regulation.  The working mechanism of BEMER consists of the transmission of a patented multi-dimensionally configured signal (waveform).  This unique signal is transmitted into the
body via an electromagnetic field meaning that it is the BEMER signal and not the electromagnetic field that acts as the “agent” that stimulates the circulatory response.  BEMER is designed to improve circulation thereby supporting the body’s natural self-regulating processes.  Blood is the body’s universal means of transport.  Oxygen, nutrients, chemical messengers (e.g., hormones) and immune cells are all transported through our blood.  When our body’s cells, tissues and organs are adequately nourished and metabolic waste products are removed, our bodies become healthy and function properly.  The optimal regulation of circulation is a prerequisite for ensuring good levels of health and fitness.
BEMER is not a disease-specific application.  Its effect on the circulation and the resulting improvements to the supply and removal of substances to/from the body’s cells allows these cells to produce and supply increasing amounts of energy, and therefore carry out their tasks (production) in a more functional manner.

How Often To Use BEMER Therapy

BEMER Therapy is recommended as a long-term application. The positive effects of BEMER Therapy last for a long period of time, but this depends fundamentally on the individual lifestyle of the user.  The average user can expect a single application to last half a day or more.  BEMER devices are available for use in the HAC clinic, but you can also purchase a device for your own personal or professional use directly from the HAC Professional Clinic.
BEMER technology is used to enhance athletic training recovery and there are even veterinarian applications frequently used on race horses.  Because of enhanced general blood flow with regular application of BEMER Therapy, one can train more (increased scope and better ability to cope with intensive sessions), increasing endurance with more frequent training sessions at correct training intensities.

HAC Students, Graduates and Clients Can Try BEMER For Free In Our Clinic

A BEMER session takes about ten minutes.  You can schedule a session for your next visit to The Healing Arts Center.  To do this, simply contact our reception services team at (314) 647-8080 and schedule an appointment.   BEMER therapy sessions at HAC cost $12 per session with discounted multi-session punch cards available through our Reception Services.

Why Is HAC Offering BEMER?

HAC is committed to providing its students and graduates with as many tools as possible to increase revenue streams into their private practices.  Every massage practice can benefit from expanding service offerings to clients so as to create a comprehensive approach to overall wellness.  BEMER is particularly attractive to massage therapists because it can offer a variety of ways to improve practice income.  First, it is a passive therapy that can be offered to clients without additional labor and the costs that come with that.  Second, BEMER sessions can enhance the effectiveness of massage therapy when the two services are offered together.  Third, massage therapists can rent or sell BEMER devices to their clients to enhance practice revenue.  For details, contact The Healing Arts Center to learn more about how to integrate BEMER to your practice.

About The Device

The BEMER B.Body is a full-length pad with multiple coils that directs the patented wave form through the entire body at once. Two pads can be attached to a single control device.
Four disc coils (upper torso) and two oval-shaped coils (lower extremities) are integrated into the whole-body application module (B.BODY). When a current flows through these coils, an electromagnetic field is generated perpendicular to the flow of the current. Every BEMER system generates a pulsating field in this way. Depending on the level selected on the control device, the intensity of the field (flux density) has an average value between 3.5 and 35 μT (microTesla) without the Plus signal and up to 50 μT with the Plus signal activated.  (For comparison, the Earth’s own electromagnetic field is between 25 and 65 μT depending on where in the world you are.)

Complementary Devices For Comprehensive and Convenient Care

The BEMER system comes with a device called the "B.PAD", which is a flexible, long and narrow coil element with three integrated coils.  Because the B.PAD can be wound around a joint, laid along the spinal column, or laid upon an arm or a leg as needed, it allows the wave form to be directed where it is needed most. Its length means that large sections of the body can also be stimulated at the same time, and its flexible and compact design means that it can easily be transported with the control unit when mobility is desired.
The BEMER system also has smaller device containing a single coil called the "B.SPOT".  This allows the system to aim the wave form directly into joints and particular tissues with precision.  The BEMER system can send signals through two application devices at once, allowing the user to direct the wave form through the entire body while simultaneously targeting specific parts of the body with different levels of intensity.
