New Seasons Spa and Salon is looking to hire a fun, energetic licensed massage therapist for a full time position.  We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of various treatment protocols and all candidates must have a current qualification and massage license. This position is physical by nature and requires candidates to meet all of the essential functions of this position.  All candidates will have a warm and welcome smile and a positive attitude.
As a massage therapist at New Seasons Spa and Salon, we strive to provide the best therapeutic massage to help others feel their best and achieve their ideal path to wellness. Along with providing quality, professional massage, listed below are the daily responsibilities:

• Follow all policies and protocols
• Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas)
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude
• Design specific sessions based on client’s individual needs
• Promote health and wellness benefits to clients about receiving massage therapy on a regular basis
• Creates excellent client experience through friendly and helpful attitude and demeanor
• Attends all scheduled shifts, is prompt to work and works entire scheduled shift
• Completes Wellness Chart documentation and SOAP Notes accurately and completely

Education, Skills and Training:

• Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
• Minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy school along with a certificate of completion
• Participates in continuing education to improve effectiveness
• Satisfactory results of background and reference check is a condition of employment in this position
• Must adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License.
• Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage required, as well as knowledge of and experience in performing other modalities, hot stone, prenatal, reflexology and sports massage.

• Have a strong customer service orientation.
• Maintain client confidentiality.

• Sign on bonus: $500   ($250 after 90 days, and final $250 after 6 months)

Schedule:

• 6-8 hour shifts
• Daytime & evening shifts
• Open on weekends
